The article analyzes materials from the excavations of crypt 23 of the Chersonesus necropolis. The crypt was explored in 1891 by K. K. Кostsyushko-Valyuzhinich. The crypt was found again in 2020 during exploration of the southern necropolis of Chersonesus. Establishing the exact location of the crypt makes it possible to significantly correct the location of the excavations of the southern necropolis of Chersonesus in 1891—1893. In the process of working on the materials of the crypt in the museum collections of the State Hermitage Museum and the SMP “Tauric Chersonesus”, it was possible to discover some items from his excavations of this crypt in 1891. Previously, some of the items were considered lost. Items have been re-attributed. An analysis of the grave goods made it possible to clarify the conclusions about the circumstances and time of the burials in the crypt. The inscriptions on the objects make it possible to identify those buried in the crypt with representatives of the urban nobility of Chersonesus in the 2nd — early 3rd centuries AD.
