REGISTRATION


Why should I register on this site?


When you register, your personal information is required for the purposes of payment and delivery of orders. Registration makes your communication with us more comfortable.
Without your permission, your personal information (all of it or part of it) cannot be disclosed to third parties.

Why do I need a user profile?


When you register, you choose your user profile, which will determine your status and cost of purchase. Price policy on profile prices shall only be valid for purchase of Stratum Plus Journal.
If you do not choose your user profile, then by default any purchase shall be priced according to a private person’s profile .    
Please, note that if the profile you have indicated in your delivery registration form is different of the real one, we will be compelled to review the cost of purchase.
User profile is not accounted for in pricing of some monographs, books or textbooks. 

The following profiles are available to our e-shop users:

- private person  
- organization/institution/library 
- student 

Student’s profile requires presentation of a copy of student’s certificate/document, personal ID and the original of the document (signed and sealed) proving the fact that you are a student of a relevant educational institution. To get this document, you should contact administration of your institution. Then you should send the documents required to obtain a student’s profile to us: MD-2024, Moldova, Kishinev, Zimbrului St., 10А, High Anthropological School University, P.P. Stratum plus.

Advantages of registration


Registration offers you an opportunity to receive cumulative discounts and updates on new titles, track record of your purchases and save time on filling in your personal data every time, use your personal profile when the cost of your order is generated.

Can I place an order without registering?


You can place your order without registering. This requires a minimum of necessary information, which is not permanently stored in our database. Information is stored only until the delivery service is notified that the order has been delivered.
However, when you place your new order, you will have to introduce all your personal data again.
Moreover, without registration you will not be able to receive cumulative discounts, track record of your purchases and use available profiles.
By default, a purchase shall be priced according to a private person’s profile .

ORDER


Why do I need my order record?


Your order record allows you to look through the list and parameters of placed orders, and offers you an opportunity to track the available cumulative discounts.

How much time does it take to place an order?


The administrator shall contact the buyer on telephone or by email within two working days after the order has been placed.
Orders of subscription are registered and delivered as soon as the journals are printed and ready to be sent.

When some titles are ordered that are available in stock, they are sent within six working days after the received payment has been verified.
Term of delivery depends on the mail service operator you have chosen and shall be communicated to you when you place your order.
After you have placed your order and before its transportation, you have right to cancel it without any fine applied whatsoever. The buyer has right to give up on his/her order within 2 days after its receipt.

Can I cancel my order?


You can cancel your order if it has not yet been sent to you. If the respective amount has already been withdrawn from your credit card, we will restitute your money. If your order has already been sent to you, you can return it. Please, familiarize with terms and conditions of return below.

Can I return the purchase?


You can return or exchange the ordered titles if they are of inadequate quality or if you received some titles you have not ordered. You can give up on your order within 2 days, and return it for exchange or refund within 30 days after its receipt. Mail services shall be payable by us in this case.

If you ordered some titles by mistake or decided that the chosen titles are not the ones you actually need or you want to give up on your order, you can do it within 2 days and return it within 30 days. However, mail services in this case shall be payable by you.

How can I access purchased publications online (PDF versions of some articles/journals)?


If you are a subscriber, key in your login and password to access the article.

Large subscription:

Having ordered this type of subscription, you get an opportunity to have the easiest and fastest access to any article published in Stratum plus since 1997.

Combinedandonlinesubscription:

Having ordered one of these subscription types, you receive an access code to download PDF version of journals as soon as they are uploaded on the site. Remember that your access code is valid for a limited period of time.

Userswithoutsubscription:

If you are not a subscriber, you can look through and download some separate PDF articles or journals online, having placed and paid the respective order on each separate article or journal. The cost of access is indicated on the page of the respective article or journal. Add an article or a journal in cart and place your order.

Having paid your order, you will receive an access code to the required PDF articles or a journal in the email box that you have indicated. Your access code will be valid for a limited period of time.

Remember that online versions of articles or journals can be used for non-commercial purposes only, for personal use and are not meant for resale. Please, respect Stratum plus copyright on any article. Most countries strictly observe the law on copyright. Breach of this law draws upon fines.

PAYMENT


Payment methods


You can pay by one of the following methods:


- cash in MDL, at the rate established by the National Bank of Moldova on the date of purchase, if delivered in Kishinev
- Visa and MasterCard (currently isn't accepted) credit cards.
You should fill in details of your credit card online on the site of the respective payment system. Then your payment shall be processed and identified within 2-3 working days.

The payment/order amount via Visa/MasterCard is converted/paid in Moldovan Lei (MDL - national currency of Republic of Moldova) at the commercial exchange rate at the date of transfer.

Exchange rates in international payment systems are a little different of the official exchange rate established by the National Bank of Moldova. Therefore, the amount withdrawn from you card account can be slightly different (i.e. it can be bigger or smaller) of the amount of order, but hardly more than by 0.3%.

Beware that any bank takes a certain charge for a bank transfer. Bank services are payable by the buyer.

Restitution of money


Upon your request sent to the email address [email protected], your money can be restituted to you by the same method the payment has been made.
In case of a bank transfer or a postal order, banks and the Post of Moldova charge a fee for money transfer services. Beware that only the money paid for the order and the respective delivery shall be restituted.

Your letter should indicate:

why the money must be restituted
number of your order
full bank details for a legal entity
ID details for an individual
postal address (ZIP code is mandatory) and ID details in case of a postal order

Legal entities shall submit the original letter with company’s logo, seal and signature of director and chief accountant to the following address: MD-2024, Moldova, Kishinev, Zimbrului St., 10А, High Anthropological School University, P.P. Stratum plus, attention of Accountant’s Office.

Remittance of money by E-anthropology.com is done within 5 working days.


Restitution to a bank card when paying your order via Internet


To have your money restituted to your bank card, you should place a request, having indicated your order number thereof. Upon your request, your money shall be restituted to the bank card you have used to pay your order. e-anthropology.com will make a transfer within 5 working days. Money will be transferred to the bank card by the issuing bank within a reasonable term required to the bank, depending on its working hours.

Terms of restitution of money paid:


1. Should you raise a claim with E-anthropology.com for quality of your order, provided that the titles in your order are indeed defective, processing of your claim and restitution of money paid for the order and delivery charges shall be done within 10 days since you have received your order and submitted your application.

2. If you give up on some titles of adequate quality before their receipt, or within 7 days after their receipt, money shall be restituted within 10 days after E-anthropology.com has received your notification on return of the titles. If within 14 days since receipt of the titles you demand that the titles of adequate quality be exchanged for some equal titles and then you decide to give up on the titles because there are no equal titles in stock at the moment of your application, then the money paid for the titles shall be restituted within 3 days upon receipt of your notification thereof in E-anthropology.com.

Security of payments


Online payments are made via ECENTRU-COM system. Security of these payments is ensured by SSL protocol, which is used to transfer private information from customer to ECENTRU-COM server for further processing. Further transfer of information is done via closed bank networks secured with higher protection measures. Processing of customer’s encoded confidential data (card and registration details, etc.) is carried out via a processing center. Thus, no one, not even the seller, can have access to the customer’s personal and bank data, including information on purchases he has made in other shops.

SSL 3.0 protocol is used to protect information against illegal entry when it is sent from customer to the eCentru server https://secure.e-centru.com/, server certificate (128 bit) has been issued by Network Solutions company, a recognized digital certificates issuer. You can check authenticity of server certificate. As well, a safe technology 3D-Secure is used to process payments via bank cards; support of this technology is a mandatory requirement of VISA international payment system. To support 3D-Secure technology, customer’s VISA card must be registered with Verified by VISA program.

DELIVERY

How and to which countries is the delivery available?


The titles will be delivered to any country of the world by the method you have chosen when placing your order. We work with such mail services as DHL, TNT, UPS, EMS, Poşta Moldovei (surface and air transportation).

When you order some titles that are available in stock, we will send them within six working days after we have verified the receipt of your payment.

After the order has been placed and before it is sent, the buyer has right to cancel it without any fines whatsoever.
The buyer has right to give up on his/her order within 2 days after its receipt. If you cancel your order after it has been sent to you for some reasons that are not connected with quality of the order, its return shall be payable by you.

How much is the delivery?


The cost of delivery is automatically added to the bill and depends on the chosen method of delivery (if there is a choice available for a particular region) and mail service operator, total weight of ordered titles, cost of order and distance to the destination.

Delivery within Kishinev is free, the time of delivery is negotiated between the buyer and the shop administrator. The administrator shall contact the buyer on telephone or email within two working days after the order has been placed.

How long does it take to deliver the order?


The term of delivery depends on the chosen type of delivery and mail service operator; buyers shall be informed of this term at the time they place their order.

Who is responsible for the titles during their transportation?


Mail service operator shall be responsible for order safety during transportation. Please, open your order right upon its receipt. Should it be damaged, raise a claim with the mail service.

If you received an incomplete order, damaged or defective titles, or some titles you have not ordered, please, inform us on [email protected], indicating your order number thereof.

As soon as the periodical comes out (as per its publishing schedule), depending on the type of subscription you have chosen, you will receive its print copy, get access to its online version or have unlimited access to the electronic archive of Stratum plus.

How can I pay my subscription to Stratum Plus?


You may pay your subscription order via credit card, direct bank transfer, cheque or postal order. We can also send you an invoice.

What about online subscription?


In order to subscribe online, you should indicate your valid e-mail address.


Having subscribed (i.e. having placed your subscription order into your cart), you will receive an automatically generated reply message informing you that your subscription has been accepted. As soon as your subscription order has been processed, you will get your access code to the online version of the journal. Please, do save it! You should also remember that your access code is valid for a limited period of time.


If you chose a type of subscription that includes a print version, you will be receiving every new printed issue and access code to its online version according to the publishing schedule (each journal is sent out within 15 days after its publication).
