The article treats attitude towards the cut head in ritual, magical and everyday practice of Central Asia’s nations. The author discloses the fact that material of Central Asia organically fits in numerous Central European subjects and oftentimes serves as an addition to it. In this material there is present a common for Eurasia theme of specific position of head in the body and space, its possession of some particular force promoting fertility and arrangement of unarranged space.
