The article presents a complete description of the main stages of such analysis and of the principles, on which dorsal scar classification is based. The descriptions are accompanied with graphical drawings illustrating the main stages and results of the analysis. In addition, the work contains a brief overview of previous attempts to apply the method to the study of various types of stone artifacts.
