The article deals with some disputable aspects of written and archaeological sources about the Bastarnae raid in Moesia and Thracia in 29 BC. It is pointed out that the Przeworsk burial № 3 in Grinev suggests a probable participation of the Upper Dniester area population in that raid. It is argued that the opus interasile chape from that burial belongs to the Gundestrup style.
