This article is a brief overview of the new research on Sambian-Natangian cemeteries dated to the Roman period (phases B-C). Results of these explorations can facilitate reconstruction of social and cultural processes which were going in Vistula firth in the Roman time. An obvious conclusion, however, is that the territories around the Vistula Firth require further studies.
