The article considers the agriculture of the ancient inhabitants of the settlement Dmitryvka III, located in the wide Dnieper-Psel floodplain near the confluence of the Psel and the Dnieper. On the basis of palaeoethnobotanical materials and location of settlements (uncharacteristic for Chernyakhov culture), the author infers that the level of agricultural development was low, traditional and aimed exclusively at domestic consumption.
