About Nature of the German Influences on Bosporus in Period of Great Migrations

It is necessary to reveal the extent of influence of Hermanarikh’s kingdom, try to localize the places of the German residing, reflect stages of German influence on Bosporus in order to understand the character of the Bosporus state in the period of Great Migrations. It is possible to distinguish some waves of influence: early (until “Gothic campaigns”), Chernyakhov, Danube, as a part of the Byzantine armies. Various forms of mutual political and cultural interaction were established. German items were found in burials, including prestigious. Bosporus population adopted fashion of wearing German suit.
Though about Bosporus dynastic history of late 5th century practically nothing is known, except an inscription of late 5th century, barbarous kings hardly governed it. Cardinal changes in Bosporus political sphere were not marked. There was no factor of external invasion. The population of the rural territory of Bosporus, besides some isolation and formation of microzones, was keeper of antique foundations of the state too.
