This volume contains some drawings by Svetlana S. Ryabtseva. As a child, Svetlana was fond of drawing and graduated from an art school in Saint Petersburg (then Leningrad). As a researcher, she focused on studying history of jewelry attire, i.e. the one topic in archaeology which is the closest to the fine arts. Svetlana Ryabtseva did all the drawings of jewelry and graphic reconstructions of attire for her own publications herself. She spent every free minute drawing - nature and flowers and ecclesiastical landmarks being her favorite subjects. Here you can find some of her works.
