The article publishes two new findings of Early Bronze Age anthropomorphic stellae from Băcioi (near Kishinev). No tumuli traces were to be seen on the surface, therefore these sculptures come from a disturbed complex. According to a series of parameters, these are the first findings of sculptures of such type in the central zone of Prut-Dniester interfluve. Both stellae bear remarkable ornamental elements: a belt (stellae nr.1) and an asterisk (stellae nr.2). The analogies for Băcioi sculptures allow dating them with the Early Bronze Age period.
