The author analyses land documents of medieval Moldova at the times of Stephan the Great.The goal of this paper is to learn more what way Stefan the Great treated the gospodars' council. The first conclusion is that the staff of the gospodars' council was changed completely in the first part of Stephan's reign. But it was a long term process. As a result"great boyars" became officers of the state and there was established constant staff of the gospodars' council (17-21 men). And, a very important thing is that Stefan didn't take in to consideration any blood ties as a reason to bring some person into the staff of the state council.
