Ten Moldavian medieval coins recently found in the territory of medieval Solkhat are published in this article. All of them were found out of the archaeological context. One groats belongs to Peter I’s emission (1382—1384/1386), three to Stephen I (1394—1399), five half groats to Alexander I (1425/1430), and one groats belongs to Stephen IV (1517—1527). These finds confirm rare but regular economic contacts between the Golden Horde Solkhat and the Moldavian state in the last quarter of the 14th century, their activisation at the end of the first quarter of the 15th century and their continuation in the first quarter of the next century.

Keywords: medieval Solkhat, Moldavian medieval coins, groats, half groats, Peter I, Stephen I, Alexander I, Stephen IV.
