The article studies textile fragments from a man’s grave 116 of Panovsky necropolis of Mordovians (8th—11th cc.) The analysis of fragments allows to reconstruct the costume of the buried and some elements of the funeral rite. The article is supplied with tables with detailed description of textile samples stored in “Morshansk’s Museum of History and Art” from Tambov Oblast State Cultural Center.
