The standard form of coin legends of the Late Jochid silver coins was: there were titles and the name of the khan on the obverse, and an indication of the place of issue (with or without a tamga) on the reverse. The paper addresses nonstandard, different from the above one, form of coin legends of late Jochid dangs. The analysis and generalization of the numismatic material allows us to propose a detailed classification of the Jochid silver coins with nonstandard form of coin legends. The authors had distinguished three main groups of late Jochid silver coins with nonstandard forms of coin legends: mules, personalized dangs, anonymous dangs. While mules were produced in a hurry and in conditions of a deficiency of “official” stamps in the process of intensive coin-production at a specific mint, the other two groups, apparently, were deliberately minted by the administration as a deviation from the standard coin legends.
