The paper deals with a variety of mirrors from early medieval sites of the Nevolino and Emanaevo archaeological cultures attributed to the Ancient Perm ethno-cultural area in the Cis-Urals Region (Priuralye). Morphological diversity of the items is being analyzed as well as chronology of the finds, anthropological identity, function and raw material components are being described. On the basis of analogies the authors conclude that the Kama mirrors were imported and originated from the Dzhety-Asar culture located in the North-Eastern Aral Sea Region. The tradition to use a mirror as a piece of the dressing set was also brought to the Kama-Vyatka Intrefluve cultures while the tradition to use it as a pendant was born in the local environment. The paper suggests possible routes of import of mirrors to the Kama Region.
