The author describes 22 images made on stone walls of the Bender fortress. These images are made by skillful masters from Crimea and Moldova. They must have appeared on the walls of the fortress in early XVIII century during the general reconstruction. One can distinguish several classes of images: narrative, with geometric ornamentation, with Arab, Latin or Cyrillic writing, etc. Scarcity of images to be compared, however, does not allow a detailed analysis of the petroglyphs.
