In the field season of 2009, the researchers found a two-story burial К31 among other burials on a ground cemetery Kleine Kaup. The features of details of its inventory date it to the first half of 11 c. One of the items in this inventory was a thyroid pendant with heraldic image interpreted as the image of a bee. According to Prussian legends, bees, sacralized by the Prussians along with other live beings, personified the supreme power.
