The authors propose an original periodization based on the connection of certain features of the funeral rites (position and orientation of the core, the location of the hands) with seasonal mortality, age and sex distribution among the buried in the cemeteries Căprăria, Limbari and Brăneşti in the Dniester-Prut interfluve.
