The monograph summarizes main results of the study of the Stone Age in the North-Western Black Sea region. It embraces the period from the Early Palaeolithic to the Neolithic. Separate chapters of the work deal with the history of research in the region under consideration, reconstruction of paleoenvironmental conditions, chronology of archaeological sites, characteristic of sites and their inventory, economy of ancient populations, and reconstruction of cultural and historical processes.
