The purpose of this article is to present the historical interpretation of the changes in architectural treatment of the Late Scythian settlements and houses in North-West Crimea over time. The author generalizes the main trends of these changes, analyzes the facts that deviate from these trends, and studies the analogies. This allows him to define the evolution of the late Scythian architecture, which likely occurred as a result of internal development and influence from the ancient Greeks. The two potential mechanisms of this influence, specifically the two programs of settlement organization in North-West Crimea, in which Greek architects could have been involved, are reconstructed. The first of these programs could have been implemented under Skiluros, and the second under the control of Pontus.
