This article is dedicated to zoomorphic and zoo-anthropomorphic brooches from the Dnieper hoards. Typological analysis of zoo-anthropomorphic fibulae showed that they are represented by early models in hoards. Also we may draw a conclusion that the origin of the zoo-anthropomorphic and zoomorphic brooches was independent. In hoards, brooches are oſten accompanied by details of heraldic belts. Artistic and stylistic comparison of these two categories of items revealed existence of some similar features between them.
