Among the fibulae found in the Baltic Region and dated by 5th—6th cc. AD, there is a series with three beams on one of the plates with animal masks. The author analyzed 26 such finds from the territory of the historical Prussia and drew the following conclusions:
1. There are two clusters of fibulae in Prussia — the historical area of Witland and the north-western extremity of the Masurian Lakeland. 2. Krefeld series finds dominate in both clusters of fibulae. 3. These clusters of fibulae with three beams are dated by the second half of 5th c. — second third of 6th c.

Keywords: fibulae with three beams, Samland, Masurian Lakeland, Merovingian epoch
