The paper deals with the Palaeolithic-Neolithic sites discovered at the Khemchik River in 1966-1967 years (Tuva Republic) when the third field crews of the Sayan-Tuva archaeological expedition studied the region. It was very significant that professor Pavel I. Boriskovsky participated in the work of the expedition. The research revealed mostly surface occurrences of lithics, but some of them  can be considered as leftovers of sites. Shanchi, Shom-Shum 2, Ulug-Bjuk 2-7 sites are dated by the second part of the Upper Palaeolithic of the Khemchik variant. The sites Bajagy 1-3, Shanchi-Aksi 1-4, Sug-Bagy 1-4, Biche-Bjuk, Ust-Khemchik 1, 2, 2a are with the Neolithic-like stone industries, but lack pottery. Bajagy 2, Shanchi-Asi 1, 2, Ulug-Bjuk 1, Biche-Bjuk, Ust-Khemchik 2 sites were correlated with Ust-Khemchik 3 (the very late Mesolithic, or so-called ”Aceramic Neolithic”), the other part probably with Neolithic – it is difficult to fix the date yet.
