This study gathers and analyzes discoveries of Greek amphorae in Getic settlements of the 6—4th centuries B. C. from the forested area between Dniester and Prut, to determine export centres and the periodicity of their presence in the Getic environment. As a result, four periods in which Greek containers appear in the area were defined. The first is represented solely by a few fragments of Samos amphorae for olive oil, dated to the second half of the 6th century B. C. The second period is characterized by Chios wine amphorae from the second and third quarter of the 5th century B. C. The third, very short period can be placed at the limit of the 5th and 4th centuries with a few discoveries of Chios and Menda amphorae. During the last period — middle and third quarter of the 4th century, amphorae fragments from almost all Greek wine exporting centres can be found in Getic settlements.
