This article is in Russian
The article discusses a silver pendant, which was found during excavations at the settlement of Kartal on the Lower Danube. The pendant has a wide unforged blade (shaped as a pole-ax) and an eyelet for hanging. The morphology of the item allows us to attribute it to the Middle Bronze Age, to the circle of cultures of Multi-cordoned ware (Babino). The find is interesting due to its two unique features. The first one is the localization of the find. The nearest area where such pendants are known is the Lola culture of the North-Western Caspian region. In the entire territory between this region and the lower Danube, such objects have not been known so far. The second feature is the raw material from which the pendant was made. All analogies, both in the area of the Lola culture and among synchronous cultural formations in neighboring regions, for example, in the North Caucasus, are made from antimony and bronze. On the Lower Danube, in particular, in the area of the location of Kartal settlement, this find may be one of the antiquities of the Multi-cordoned ware culture. In the vicinity of the settlement, including the territory of the settlement itself, a series of burial complexes and individual finds of this period are known.

Keywords: pendant, Multi-cordoned ware culture, Lola culture, Kartal
