The author offers a reconstruction of weapons, warrior’s equipment and horse harness by materials from grave 5 in barrow no. 15 of the main Kamen-II burial ground in the forest-steppe Altai. A brief overview of studies on this site is also provided, and questions raised about the dating of this site. To mention, artistic drawing (as a type of graphic reconstruction) nowadays plays an increasingly important role in studying military affairs of early societies. This is conditioned by its high demonstrative capacity, owing to realistic and vivid character of such images. Methodologically, reconstruction based on finds from one closed complex seems to be most promising, for it most plausibly reflects correlation of various elements in warrior’s equipment and horse harness as one set. That is why the present article is so important.
