In 1999, during the excavations of the Krasnosakmarskoye settlement, among other finds, a fragment of an animal bone with an engraved image of a goat was found. It is proved that the image on the bone was made in the Bronze Age. In 2002 G. F. Korobkova conducted a trace analysis of the image, which was found to be authentic. The article provides a detailed description of the image and all trace data.
