The paper is dedicated to the materials of a new station in the Szeletian cultural technical complex of Vys River. The site is located in the valley of Bolshaya Vys River, near the town of Novomirgorod in Central Ukraine. The site was explored in 2007—2010 by the archaeological expedition of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and is dated by early stage of the Upper Palaeolithic. The uncovered evidence finds numerous analogies in Szeletoid complexes in Ukraine (Stinka on the Dniester, Korolevo II in Transcarpatia, Mira near Zaporozhe, Buran-Kaya III (layer C) in Crimea); Moldova (grotto in Brinzeni (lower layer), Gordinesti, Corpaci, Corpaci — promontory, Bobulesti, Buzdugeni); and Russia (Birucha Balka 1 and 2 on the Lower Don, Kostenki 1 (layer 5), 6, 11 and 12 (layer 3) on the Middle Don).

Keywords: Early Upper Palaeolithic, Szeletian techno-complex, Streletskaya culture, Vitachiv (Bryansk) soil
