The article discusses the results of excavating Pesochny Rov settlement of Yukhnov culture carried out by M. V. Voevodski (1940, 1945—1947) and L. L. Zalizniak (1981—1982, 2002). The material dating back to Early Iron Age is introduced. The article highlights the history of studies on the settlement, its material culture and certain aspects of economy. The settlement is dated back to 5th—4th cc. BC.
