The author specifies ways and places of flint mining in Dniester River basin, Volhynia, South Bug River and Dnieper River basin and describes flint treatment workshops. She points out appearance of specialised centers of flint industry with workshops there producing items for domestic and exchange purposes. Development of industries of this type leads to emergence of certainrites and cults. Flint industry of Tripolye culture becomes a highly developed sector of early economy.
