The article is dedicated to the place of cult of Kybele in the religious views of the population of Bosporos in the first centuries A.D. Having analyzed sculptural images of this goddess that were found on Bosporos, the author comes to the conclusion that they come from the prototype of Asia Minor. However, the cult of Kybele have not got wide spreading here, her image mingles with the images of Aphrodite, Demeter and Artemis into one female deity — Great Mother. This is a reflection of the general tendency to the syncretism of certain divine beings in the old ancient world.
