This study traces the diffusion of the ideas, designs, and techniques of Scandinavian affiliation. Scandinavia essentially contributed to the emergence of the Sea Peoples phenomenon. Northern influence upon Greece, Phoenicia, Israel, Judea and Egypt can be argued in many instances. Specific correspondences between Polynesian and European cultures are likely due to penetration of the Western mariners into Oceania. Striking similarities between objects unearthed in Ohio and Jutland strongly suggest that Adena culture emerged with assistance of newcomers from Scandinavia.
