Masliny settlement refers to the chora of Chersonesos in Northwest Taurica. In ancient times, the region had favorable climatic conditions for the development of agriculture. The site was excavated by the squad of Kharkov University in 1972—1986 under the leadership of V. Latysheva. There is a fortification and an open settlement with typical structures on the site. Ceramic complex from Masliny settlement is represented by a wide range of forms of Chersonesos and imported pottery. Study of the site raises several important issues about the organization of chora of Tauric Chersonesos in the region.
