The monography «Early Iron in forest-steppe between Dniester and Siret (Cozia-Saharna culture)» is devoted to learning historical and cultural processes of a beginning of iron century in a zone of cultural contacts and different influences between the ancient peoples of East and Central Europe. The book is generalizing research about Cozia-Saharna culture. For the first time M.Kashuba proves that related groups Cozia and Saharna groups belong to uniform culture, which is called as Cozia-Saharna. This culture in further exist in two local variants: western — Cozia and east — Saharna. The materials of old (50 years) and new (under the direction of the writer) excavation of Saharna antiquities are published in these book. The author is given new typology of main artefacts of this culture, early and late Saharna monuments are designated also. The chronological frameworks of culture get in second half Х — first half VIII B.C. M.Kashuba is affected the question of originating Basarabi-Sholdenesti culture on Saharna basis in middle — second half VIII B.C. The monography contains the new complete concept of cultural-historical development forest-steppe between Dniester and Siret in Х-VIII B.C.
