The article presents an analysis of a new Late Eneolithic burial complex from the barrow excavated in 2018 near Kairy village (Gornostaevka district, Kherson region, left bank of the Dnieper). The authors compare the features of the burial rite with the more ancient local traditions of so-called “Post-Stog” type of burials and with burial sites of the Repin culture. Two unique vessels from the cult site near the burial are analyzed. One of them finds analogies in the Kuban burial and among the artifacts uncovered from the barrow on the Molochnaia river. The second vessel has features that make it possible to compare it with the Rogachik ceramics. The authors discuss a correlation between the Repin culture sites, which are clearly attributed to migrations in the given area, and the Rogachik sites, which seem to have evolved locally.
