Chalcolithic sites of the Kama river basin are presented in the article. All studied sites belonged to the Garinskaya culture. These investigations showed that the main stone raw materials used for the stone industry on these sites were biogenic flint and volcanogenic sedimentary jasper. This raw material was found in the composition of pebbles from alluvium and eluvium of the Kama river basin. All studied samples were made of local raw material sources. It has to be noted that no differentiation in preference of raw material between inhabitants of the Upper and the Middle Kama river basin was found. This supports a high level of homogeneity of the Garinskaya culture in this region.
Analysis of sites distribution showed that they are located in the vicinity of the pebble sources.
