The authors publish materials collected from Nikonion necropolis — an ancient Greek city in the Lower Dniester region. Presently, there are data available about 5 excavated mounds (total 30 graves). All graves are dated within the 4th century BC. There are three main types of funerary constructions — simple pit, pit with niche (undercut) and catacomb burials. Besides one single cremation, other graves are inhumations. Grave goods are represented by ordinary items, typical for other necropolises of ancient Greek cities of the North Pontic region. Among them, there are amphorae (Heraklea Pontica, Chios, Peparethos, Thasos), black-glazed pottery, glass beads, coins (Histria and Tyras), bronze arrowheads, clay spindles, small iron knives. Taking into consideration the dates of existence of Nikonion before Roman time (second half 6th century BC — first half 3rd century BC), today we do not know burials of the earlier period (Late Archaic — Early Classical period) and the latest time (3rd century BC).
