The questions related to the history of the Scythians (6th c. BC) are discussed in the article. The dated complexes make one assume the coexistence of the latest early-Scythian and oldest middle-Scythian burials about 560—540 BC. The period of the complete replacement of early-Scythian quiver sets by those of middle-Scythian followed after the transitional period (second-third quarter of 6th c. BC) with the mixed quiver sets. Thus, there is a reason to suppose that Ancient Scythia gave place to Classic one in the middle of 6th c. BC owing to the pressure of the new nomadic group.
