The article is dedicated to a publication of materials of two new brass workshops (construction complexes No. 6 and 13) of the late 7th – first half of 6th cc. B.C. discovered by the Berezan’ (Low Bug River) classical expedition of the State Hermitage in 1998 – 2000 on the territory of Borysthenes, the earliest Ancient Greek colony in the North Black Sea region (Berezan’ Island nowadays). Based on the available data and observations the authors infer that the commercial brass production was one of the main economic activities of the local craftsmen in the early days of this colony. Brass was mainly exported to the metropolis.
