The article analyses peculiarities of ethno-cultural development of the Middle Dnieper region at the turn of epochs. Analysis of different categories of finds enables the author to show what cultural impulses from the Central European region played the decisive role in cultural genesis on the left bank of the Middle Dnieper.
The syncretic culture of the «La-Tиne Veil» on the left bank of the Middle Dnieper was shaped by local and foreign elements of such cultures as Przewor, Zarubinetskaya, Poianeşti-Lucaşeuca, etc. Further research enables one to distinguish cultural values of different local cultural formations of the «Celtic Veil» – the community that played the decisive role in cultural genesis on this territory.
