The materials of Kipets I burial ground located in the Upper Don region are of particular interest for the study of traumatic injuries from impact weapons. The burials had no grave goods. Meanwhile, two of them were dusted with ochre, and another ocherolored pit was interpreted as a cenotaph. In the six graves there were skeletons of twelve individuals: ten of them were placed on the back with bent legs, and two lay on side. The main group was attributed to Sredniy Stog culture. Two skeletons from the paired burial may relate to the Bronze Age. Traumatic injuries are fixed on the skull of the dead crouched on its back, and on both skulls of the dead buried on their side in the paired burial. The dimensions of the traces of injuries make it possible to determine that they were inflicted by weapons, such as maces with protrusions, an ax and, possibly, an arrowhead. It is the first presentation of this burial ground for the academic discussion.
