This paper publishes for the first time the Sarmatian burial, investigated in 2023 on the right bank of the Kuchurgan estuary. The grave was sunk in the mound of an early Bronze Age barrow. It was made in a rectangular pit oriented along the north-northeast — south-southwest line. A 20-30-year-old man was laid on his back in an extended position, with his head to the north-northeast. A pottery jug with traces of repair was placed at his head. Analogies to the vessel and a radiocarbon date indicate that the burial was made in the second half of the 1st to the first third of the 2nd century AD.
Keywords: right bank of the Kuchurgan estuary, the second half of the 1st — the first third of the 2nd centuries, Sarmatians, graves, radiocarbon dating
