The article is dedicated to the well-known historian of Antiquity and Middle Ages, Professor P. O. Karyshkovsky (1921—1988). It tells the story of the IX International Readings, held on March 11—12, 2011 in Odessa, in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the scientist. The article also presents the latest published collection of conference reports. The authors share memories of their Master and publish his rare photographs and poems over the years.
