This paper discusses several funerary finds at the well-known archaeological site of Brad (Bacău county), where four prehistorical inhumation graves were discovered. Though the archaeological literature has mentioned them before, new data have imposed a revisitation of the funerary complexes specific to the Early Bronze Age. The retrieval of a part of the old documentation pertaining to the archaeological site has allowed the clarification of details regarding the position of the deceased and the funerary inventory. In addition, we were able to correct certain information regarding the elements of the necklace found in the grave 2.
The group of burials in Brad is part of the rather limited series of funerary finds ascribed to the Early Bronze Age within the space between the Siret and the Carpathians.
