Sew-on-beads represent one of the most important and rich groups of artifacts in Yudinovo. There are over 17,000 beads, including fragments and half-products. These are flat, thin, tiny articles of ivory. Their shape may be rectangular, lunar, oval, rounded. The length varies between 0.5 to 1.5 cm, the width is 0.5-0.7 cm, the thickness is 0.1-0.2 cm. The rounded beads are of 0.5-0.7 cm in diameter. The spatial distribution of the beads is uneven. Many of them were found in the dwellings, in the ash-pit, near the hearth. No artifacts of this kind are known outside the Dnieper region. The beads from other parts of Eastern Europe and Siberia differ from the Yudinovo ones by many features.
