The theoretical and applied researches of the died out trunk representatives of Eurasia, the Carpathian – Dniester region inclusive reveal that the mechanism of their adaptation to the environment was extremely various and the flexibility of the trunk representatives with regard to the environment was rather high. Alongside, their popularizations in the Eastern Europe in the middle – and late – quaternary period were not so numerous as it was believed earlier and this fact is well illustrated by the example of the data from the sites of the Dniester area (Molodova I,V; Cormani IV; Rashcov VII, etc.), the Prut area (the grotto of Buzdujeni, the grotto of Old Duruitori, Brinzeni II etc.)
