Identification of minting centers is one of the major challenges for any student of numismatics of the Roman time Bosporus Kingdom. The fact is that gold, bronze and copper Bosporan coins of the time usually lack any indication to the mint. Instead, they have differents, and earlier we already suggested a methodology for their attribution. We apply our hypothesis in this paper to try and reveal symbols on copper and bronze coins issued by Archon Asander. Indeed, such marks are present in cartouches on reverses of the studied coins. The research allowed us to clarify our concepts about Archon Asander’s minting activity and, first of all, to establish the centers that issued coins on his behalf. As a result, we managed to outline the area of influence of this sovereign. Thus, a study of the differents on Archon Asander’s copper and bronze coins gave us some important historical data enabling a new concept of the history of the Bosporan State in the second half of 1st century BC.

Keywords: Bosporus, 1st century BC, numismatics, Asander, coins, tutela, differents.
