In July 2008, during the excavations in the Baba Cave (Dobruja) located in the hum, a Turkic nomad grave was found. The grave was discovered in a small niche in the upper part in the northern wall of the cave. The skeleton is oriented on the east-west axis. Typical nomadic grave goods were found in the grave pit. Based on analysis of the metal, the grave can be dated between the mid/end of the 10th century and the middle of the 11th  Century A.D.
