The article suggests an interpretation of "Ba's dancer", or "Snake Keeper". It is a mythological character of ancient population of South-Western China - ancestors of the modern Miao (Meo). The author thinks that the "Ba's dancer" is a result of some ancient Indo-European migration from India to the South-Western China. According to his opinion, Shiva in the mythology of Hinduism and Krishna-Haruda in the Tibetan tradition are closely related to "Ba's dancer" phenomenon.
