This paper offers a reconstruction of events that led to disappearance of Scythia. In late 4th c. BC the Scythians won the war with Bosporus. Then, in late 4th c. BC, Bosporus was supported by Eastern nomads and the tribes of the Dnieper-Don Forest-Steppe and the Lower Don were defeated. The Scythians of the steppe lost their battle in 310—309 BC. In late thirties of 3rd c. BC, Greek settlements of Northern Black Sea region were attacked from the east, but the Scythians could not have any relation to this, because Scythia stopped its existence.

Keywords: Northern Black Sea, the Scythians, Sauromatai, Syrmatae, Bosporus Kingdom.
